Surface finishing is one of the most important stages in natural stone processing. The type of finish can significantly change the appearance, texture, light reflection, slip resistance, and final application of the stone.
The same stone can have a completely different appearance depending on its surface finish — from a highly polished and luxurious surface to a rough and natural texture designed for outdoor applications.

.1. Polished
A polished finish creates a smooth, glossy, and highly reflective surface. It enhances the natural color, veining, and depth of the stone.

Choosing the Right Finish
No single finish is suitable for every stone or every project. The right choice depends on stone type, geological structure, application area, traffic level, environmental conditions, required slip resistance, maintenance requirements, and architectural style.
For example,
flamed granite can be a suitable option for a high-traffic outdoor area, while the same granite with a polished finish can create a completely different appearance for a luxury interior.
Similarly, polished onyx can create a highly luxurious and striking appearance, while honed or brushed limestone can be more suitable for creating a natural, calm, and minimalist atmosphere.
